There has been some hard white-blue or white-green thing accumulated around the rangefinder eyepiece of my Kiev III. I have tried removing it by scrapping it with a bamboo stick, but without any luck. It has been more like eating up the bamboo stick that removing that thing.
Is there a way to clean it up? Is it going to eat up a lot more in the near future?
Can't tell how much I hate it on my lady!

Thank you!
--- Update ---
It did a great job! It has removed almost all of it and it made it look nice and shinny! I will try it to mo other rangefinders too.
