Sorry guys for reposting the horror. I missed the earlier post. Maybe I need a "prevent redundant post filter" 😉
 
Many years ago I tried to return an early Konica RF to life after it had been found in an abandoned seabag. It looked much like the Nikon shown here. Exposure to salt water makes it almost impossible to return a camera to service.
 
That looks alot like a camera that has been submersed in sea water. Yikes. No point in owning that. Cost more to fix it than to buy a new one. Would be an interesting project, but that corrosion could be pretty deep.
