I recently bought a GSW690II. I shot a few sample rolls to try it out. Although I don't think any of the shots are outstanding, they do show the capabilities of the lens. All of the color shots use a UV filter.
You can click on any shot so see the full sized NCPS scan.
This shot was taken at Bartel's Harley Davidson in Marina Del Rey, California on Fuji Provia 400. It was hand-held.

The rest of the shots were taken on a late afternoon at Exposition Park in Los Angeles California. All shots were taken on a tripod.
This shot was again Provia 400

These next two shots were taken using TMAX 100 and an orange filter.

The next two shots were taken with Fuji Pro 400H.

The next two shots were taken using Velvia 50

These last two shots were taken soon after sunset with Provia 400

Another shot of the SR-71 after sunset with Provia 400

Here is another shot of the SR-71 Blackbird taken after sunset with Fuji Provia 400x and the Fuji GSW690II camera. If you look at the full sized scan (click on the image below) you can see just a bit of grain on the darker areas, none in the lighter areas. I am very impressed with the Provia 400x.

Sweet! I just pulled the trigger on a GW690III (not the GSW), and looking forward to giving it a whirl. Actually, I'm in SoCal as well, so I might even try it out at these very same locations.

6x9 images are amazing in real life printed big. But, to me, always disappointing on the web. That Fuji is sure capable of making some fine images, though. Definitely GAS inducing!

Nice!
Nice!
Great stuff. I need to shoot my GSWIII again sometime soon.
That SR-71 looks totally cool! A shame to waste one of those on display vs. actually flying it though.
That looks like some sort of prototype/trainer though? The double-cockpit is unusual. Any more details on that plane?
