California (Bay Area, Northern) San Jose Camera Show 4/9

Did anyone else go to the camera show in San Jose? I was impressed and surprised by the great deals we found there. We found allot of the prices were way below what's online. I got a Leica II with a Summar lens for less then 1/2 what they go for online. My wife even bought a camera she was looking for $125 less then she found online. Most of the sellers there seemed more like hobbyists then merchants.

G'ddamn! I completely forgot that the camera fair was this weekend.

Happy to hear it was good though....guess I'll go in July...

I was there. I didn't see you but you didn't see me either! (^O^)

I bought a great tripod for $10, found a lens hood for my Yashica-A TLR, a good cheap book on PSCS, a bunch of soft camera straps, and a few other items. I'm pleased that Petra Kellers has taken over the show, it was well attendend, parking (free) and admission was great, there were many good vendors willing to negotiate, and I was very pleased.

The next fair is July 8th (but I'm photographing a wedding that day!)
