OK, maybe a dumb question. When I input my images to epson raw program, it lets me work on them then I can send them to the right side for saving in different formats like tiff, jpg, etc. But how do I save the original raw images, the ones on the left, so that I have the "digital negative" forever? Thanks, Bob.

the "digital negative" is never touched; your ERF file stays as shot.

Bob, I believe you are asking about the retouching done in EPR. Unfortunately, there is no way to save it with the image. Would have been nice. What you may do is save the changed settings as profiles that could be reused when you process the images next time.

I save my original ERF files first to an Image Tank or external disk
and then I download then to the computer, to 'develop' the images.
I always keep the original ERF files away from the computer.
