Scanning Resource Providers

I've found three outfits that look useful so far. Want to run them past folks to see what their experience is... 'cause... well, it's summer and things can seem a bit flakey. Folks may be travelling and all which might explain a few things.

First there is Betterscanning.com and I have no reservations about Doug. He responds quick as a wink. Haven't bought anything from him yet, but seems a real business operation. Promising. Lots of references out there.

Next there's ScanScience.com and there's notice that the web contract form doesn't work, emails seem to go unresponded to, and there is no listed phone. Folks offer stuff for wet scanning that might be helpful that I don't see being offered elsewhere... but maybe there's nothing particularly unique here either outside of the Lumina liquid?

Finally, there's FocalPoint which has a phone number and a functioning order form and seems something more akin to Betterscanning's offerings. Lots of AN glass inserts. Might be useful, too for those of us rolling our own.

I bought AN glass from Focal Point and had quick responses to my emails and also, as I recall, a fast delivery to the Netherlands.

There's also filmscanusa.net. I have never ordered from them but they did respond quickly to an email I sent them.
