Is this drum scanner worth the time and the inevitable learning curve it requires? It has been offered to me at a reasonable price and with complete software (for older Mac OS). It scans at 3000 dpi and likely a very good Dmax, but has a non-removable drum. Your opinion, or, even better, first-hand experience?
