I have been offered one of these scanners with a G3 mac for about US$120. It appears to be a good scanner in its day and probably still excellent today.
1. Does anyone have experience with these scanners?
2. Is it worth picking this up compared with say a modern epson / hp etc?
3. Is it compatible with today's Macbook or say a PC?
4. Does it slow down your digital workflow dramatically?
5. What do the scans look like if you have a Scitex or have used one. Post them here.
