as suggested by the acronym-laden headline: which FSU Leica clones will a SCNOO fit? Is there any hope of getting it on a FED-Zorki, a Zorki-1 or (hark, hark) a Zorki-5?

Not likely. The baseplates may interchange between Leica II and FED/Zorki, but it stops there. It's very unlikely that the Zorki or FED were machined fine enough to be able to engage with the SCNOO. Even amongst Leicas this rapid winding device had to be matched properly.

It was the first rapid-wind accessory for a Leica.
I too, would like to try and find out if it fits a Fed /Zorki.
