Today was an easy 100-110 degrees outside and it's also the Scott Kelby Worldwide photowalk. I took the E-P1 out which just arrived last night with the 14-42mm and the Voigtlander 28mm OVF and went out shooting. The art filters are quite addicting and fun but what was a bit worrisome was when the temperature warning on the camera came on! In the blazing sun, the metal body can get hot and I'm not sure how much of a factor that would be for some but it's definitely something interesting for me because I live in the desert... well, it's summer anyway.

here's the rest of my review with pictures of course:

Cheers and have a great weekend y'all

BTW, I saw someone with the G1 and the EVF looks NICE :-D

I hear that heat! In China there are a lot of places that are really bloody hot and I was alwys worried about my cameras when I was out in areas like that. Once I had a film point and shoot backup camera that was pretty new, but after a one month'ish trip in a terribly hot area the foam seals in the camera turned into a sticky goo like someone had stuck a bunch of chewed gum in the camera.

It is good this camera has a temp warning, better that then a sudden smell of toasted silicon!

ps. the evf in the g1 is nice, but I would take the smaller size of the ep1 over the g1's finder any day :)
