sears tower light meters

🙂 hello its me again I received my TOWER SEARS light meter today, took it out in the sun however no movt of the needle, did these meters require batteries? Have I been sold a dud? it says " set light value yes ok, to asa index yes ok, read time and f stop not okay why time? Is that shuuter speed? thanks Jack

If it is like mine, which is actually made by Toshiba, it should have a button on the side to turn it on and cover for the battery compartment on the bottom.

thanks pete no it is marked made in U.S.A.it has TOWER sears roebuck and co.no buttons only two screws at the back took them out back extremely hard to get off. jack

thanks I opened it up the needle fell off the pivot does not respond to light sold a pup. Will look here in australia for delicate equip. thanks anyway
