The NW will rise again.
Just in case any of the Seattle crew is looking for something to do tomorrow (Sat Feb 11th)...
The 2nd annual Pacific Northwest yoyo championships will be held at the Seattle Center "Centerhouse". This is a contest that draws players from all over the NW. Last year we probably had 40 people competing. Which is very good for a regional contest. Think yoyoing is lame? Well you are right. But its a lot of fun.
Haven't seen yoyoing recently? It's a lot more interesting than you think. Check out this video that a friend of mine made:

Or this video of seattle players that I did the other year (warning, this video also crudely makes fun of our beloved commander-in-chief. Seriously, I have no class and should be shot). The yoyoing is nifty though:

In all seriousness, there should be some interesting photos to be taken. The schedule and more info are on the site below. I'll be there from 9:00am or so onward. While the contest is running, I have to judge and help run the thing. But other than that, I'd love to talk RF or teach people how to yoyo.
