Seeking Service Rec: Dropped my ZM 50 Sonnar

It fell from a table & landed on a corner of the hood, which acted a bit like a bottle opener for the front ring (with the bayonet for the hood). Part-way "open."

That ring isn't functional? Dunno. Everything appears to WORK just fine, but it's hard to trust it now, so looking for recommendations for service. I'm currently in the US near San Francisco, though I suppose rec's in Hong Kong or Japan are okay for me too.

DAG would be my first choice for any U.S. repair like this. If parts are needed it’ll likely have to go to Zeiss. Good luck!

I like Don but in this specific case.... Zeiss US actually sent the lens overseas and are replacing parts (deformed barrel and a broken ring!), disassembling and cleaning throughout, and... it was less expensive than the last time DAG handled one of my older lenses. I think this good fortune is entirely because the lens is still in Zeiss's catalog.
