Just a heads up to anyone who might be interested. I'm putting my R-D1S on eBay later today or tomorrow - I have to borrow a camera from a friend first to get pictures for the ad. I might put it on RFF as well. Sorry but I don't want to risk sending abroad so UK only.

I bought it from Robert White on November 24th and they checked it before dispatching so everything is as it should be and there is still 8 months warranty. It is mint and hardly used - probably only a couple of hundred actuations. It comes with a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II memory card, 3 batteries (2 of which are Epson originals), is boxed and comes with all original box contents and packing. I hope to get around £1100 - It cost nearly £1500. I have 100% positive feedback on eBay (eBay name is mickstringer) and pride myself on my honesty.

The reason for posting here is that I want to get a Leica M6/M6TTL/M7/MP in good condition and a scanner because I want to return to film and thought someone here might be interested in a fair trade. I was thinking that if I could get an M6 for around £600 I could buy a good scanner myself (probably a Nikon Coolscan V or similar) but send me a message if you have any ideas about a deal. I would also be interested in a deal including a 50mm Leica lens.

I think that the Epson is a fantastic camera but I hardly use it and, believe it or not, I miss developing film.

The R-D1S is now up on eBay - item number is 110104638747 so you can see the full description and pictures. I can obviously remove it if anyone has a good trade.
