I am selling lenses here and yahoo. This month early, I had received an email from the USA. His name is daniel role. He wishes to buy lenses, a lot and posting to Nigeria. He is urgent me to give him bank a/c detail for sending money to buy lenses. Is he trustful ?

Nigeria spells scam. Sad for anyone from there that may be legit.
I can only think of selling there if the money comes first. I had offers like these too. Fascinated, I pursued for some time. In the end they all come up with Western Union of some unknown escrow service. Western Union is known for fraud. Or they may use something that looks like a legit escrow. In that case, use a service you know and trust. Only do deals like these if it is 100% on your terms. You will see all of these offers fall through and prove to be scams.

Ignoring the whole Nigeria thing, which should be a red flag, the fact they have an address in the US but what you to post the lens some place else is also really sketchy. Exercise some of that common sense.

If you want to give away your lenses for free AND lose money on top of that, go ahead and deal with them. Anybody surfing the web on a somewhat regular basis should know that Nigeria spells trouble and SCAM big time.

It might be that the money will come from a hijacked bank account. Once the money is with you, you dispatch the parcel and few days later the bank will get the money back for the real owner of the hijacked bank account.
Usually the one sending money to you is a "financial agent" - check your email account and you might find lots of these advertisements to become a "financial agent" for the company abroad which wants to open a branch in your country. Those agents will have to proxy money and packages according to instructions from their "superiors".

I always send them a polite email saying that rather than doing a wire transfer or sending an international money order I'll trade for slave girls and that I'll help them get tourist visas for the girls and pay air fare. So far no takers. (Slavery is still common in parts of Africa.)

Another trick is to send you several thousands of dollars more than the item's cost witha request to deduct the amount for the lens and forward the rest someone else they list.

The money they send ends up being stolen etc. so you lose that plus the extra you sent on plus your lens.

Fools are born every day.

This same thing was on German tv last week. They pretended to buy a car via internet portal and sent the seller 6000 dollars more than the car cost actually. Also they are able to get back that money you send them then via Western Union or by cheque for 60 to 70 days.
