Selling photos?

So I get home to an email offer from some one (nobody I know, just normal internet exposure, they saw my flickr) complimenting some of my photos, asking if I would sell them for use on his/her blog.

My first response is to reply saying thanks, but accepting that when she/he sobers up, he/she will see things differently.

That said, what should I do? How much $ would be reasonable? I can't imagine it will be enough to be worth selling. Just the question is compliment enough for this hack.

I don't know how to reply.:confused:
 
Firstly, congratulations Rover. If nothing else, it is gratifying to have ones work be recognized.

Naturally this would a license for usage not a sale. The terms of licensing for your images for blog or any other usage may be more important than the amount of money you might ask. Make sure there is agreement on how long, in what mediums, at what resolutions, and with what degree of credit your images are to be used.

You of course may feel differently about this, depending on a number of factors, but this is my first instinct...
