I blessed to have a mother who works for United. This allows me to travel nearly to my hearts desire. I have four days off next week and am itching to use my new rig.
Where should I go and why?

Tokyo: the only place on your list I've been. Lots to see and do though.

Your back yard is enough. However, if you want to have lots of photo opportunities and dispose of strong nerves, go to Naples instead.

tokyo for sure. theres such a mix of modern and tradition. the city never sleeps. the culture is so radically different than American culture. film is pretty cheap there (development too). food is great. japanese chicks are great. do it.

Here's an alternative - load up some B&W and go to some countryside small town (they're all 1M population) in China and shoot like crazy. Bring plenty of film.

Travel to place that takes the shortest time to get there. More time to photograph. Isn't Santa Barbara a beautiful place? Itchy? Los Angeles.

Four days including travel and a jet lag? If coming to Europe you'll have plenty of time for night shots!

i shall soon, after shave, shower see Milady with newspapers, walk Delilah, see the streets of Toronto. My amazing city. Cool but sunny.
Enough it's f16 there, gotta go with my M6 and Collapsible Summicron. Yup!

I actually live in Buenos Aires, i could gladly (if correctly spelled) make you a tour or something like that... i have a home made lab over here, so we should have no problems at all.. besides that i wouldnt recommend to send film to a laboratory over here.. happy shooting!

Ya, I am used to quick trips. I recently did a 24 hour Amsterdam trip as well as a 24 hr NYC trip. Both awesome.
Thanks for everyone's input. I like the idea of Tokyo, never been to Asia before.

Any of those are great EXCEPT Frankfurt.
There are much cooler cities in Germany (sorry to any Frankfurters on the forum) like Berlin, Hamburg or Munich...
My vote is for Beijing.

SB is amazing and LA as well but I have seen these places so many times. One of the main reasons I like traveling is photographing people in airports and in planes. I love to travel by my self and get lost in a foreign country.
