Shades for my 35mm Summicron IV

I used to use a round lens shade for my 35mm Cron (III). Supposedly it was made for 50mm/2.0 and 35mm/2.0.

Presently, my 35mm Cron (IV) has the rectangular shade. I'd like to get another circular shade similar to the one I used with my Cron III. I don't know if a round shade will fit the IV nor do I know its part number anymore.

Can you help with these two questions?

You'll want a 12585, that's what I use on my 'cron v4 most of the time as I like the vents. They can be quite expensive, the little rectangular hood is perfectly adequate. You could also use one of those Ebay screw-in hoods which sell for next to nothing.

My v4 had the rectangular hood and the retro vesion of the asph 35 summicron that I now have has a round hood. With the round hood I had serious flare problems to the extent I was going to retire the lens untill I deceided to try the rectangular hood. Flare problems are now resolved and have had no issues with the new hood. I would rethink getting the round hood.

If you deceide to get a round hood I have a 12538 that I will make a deal on. I think it works on the 35 but you might want to check.
