Has anybody yet pondered on the possibility of having shift inbuilt in an adapter on the G1?

When I get one my self I will surely want to be able to shift my CV 15mm when necessary... This should be dead easy to implement I guess?

Should be plenty leeway optically to shift wide-angles, but perhaps there are limitations due to the angle of light hitting the sensor?

What I have seen so far from ultra wide-angles seems quite OK - but I really wonder if this should be possible...

Should be easy to test with an old lens cap cut down to size and holding it in front of the camera... :)

It's usually easier to shift slightly longer lenses than ultrawides - since the UW lenses are already stretched to their utmost to cover. But since the 4/3 sensor is 1/2 the size of the designed image circle, you're probably right that it's possible.

I have not seen anything yet. But if they made an optional P/C mount for something in the 24mm range, that would be very interesting.

Yes - and it is one of the things I would love to experiment with!

Of course one could also use say Nikon wides, then the problem of angle of light should be much less because of the retrofocus design.

And there would then even be some room for tilt...
