shooting 1600 in the XA

Is there a proper way to compensate for the aperture priority thinking its 800iso?

i've already started shooting it, just wanted to see if this roll will turn out.

Setting ISO lever to 800 is proper enough way?

Shoot at 800. Once stop doesn't matter with print film... Might even look better.

I had to send mine out for repairs, had the tech recalibrate the meter to read a stop faster (I was hoping for 2 stops, but he said that was beyond its tolerances). If I ever really wanted to shoot 25ASA again I could have used the backlight compensator. Wound up selling it to fund my R3a, but it was a nice little camera.

I shoot Neopan 1600 at iso 800 in the XA quite regularly. Works great!
