Hi,
I carry my camera to work everyday, at lunch time maybe go for a little walk, take some shots, after work on my way home, etc.. Now that the light leaves us so much earlier, I was thinking of maybe loading tri-x at 1600, and during the morning/day put a 2 stop B&W ND filter on that I can take off when I get off of work. I have a Leica M6 ttl and 35 summicron by the way, thats my reasoning for the ND..
Is there a better way of doing this? Will an ND have much effect on the IQ?
Thanks

B+W rates its ND filters up to three stops as absolutely neutral, even where slide film is concerned. Tri-X pushed to 1600 will have much effect on IQ, though...

Thanks sevo, Ive shot Trix at 1600, I dont mind it, I figured its the only way I could shoot at daytime and later in the afternoon. Since the M6 only goes up to 1/1000, I guess the ND will be my solution..
Thanks again..
