The ever-conspiring Capitalists have apparently sunk the old Show us your FSU thread into oblivion, so that doesn't seem to show up in the thread list anymore... but we cannot be subdued!

I have some of theses Kievs and compared to some of the junk I see on ebay they are in superb condition, I bought many decades ago when nonbody wanted them and I couldn't have ever imagined that many years later they would so topical on a US forum.
I beleive many were imported into the UK though TOE and maybe this is the reason they are still fuctional, I've tried a couple of 4A's but although I own about a 1/2 dozen Kiev 4's I've never used one.

ah....TOE, I remember buying the last new one of these - that I ever saw in a shop here, I think I paid about £29 for it! sometime in the eighties, it's long gone, as I did not like that vicious focusing wheel!I have some of theses Kievs and compared to some of the junk I see on ebay they are in superb condition, I bought many decades ago when nonbody wanted them and I couldn't have ever imagined that many years later they would so topical on a US forum.

Go ahead!
xayraa33, the Drug came with a 1961 J-8 that is indeed excellent, the best one I've shot with so far. I like the camera, the 1:1 viewfinder with framelines is great, and the Leicavit-style trigger winder where you just hold down the shutter button for continuous shooting is a nice touch.

I have a question regarding attachment of images. I attached a picture showing a Zorki3 and Fed Ig. But it only shows up as a Thumpnail. You have to press that to watch the larger image. What is the trick to have the large image in the message?
When you are making the post, click on the filename after it finishes uploading. It will open in a new window. Cut and Paste that address in between commands.

Can I ask a general question about upload of images.
How was it possible for you to upload images which are larger 195 KB and larger than 600x600 pixels? .....you don't use the attachment icon in "Advanced mode" to upload?

I am hosting my images on ziforums.com, in the gallery. 1024x1024 and 1MByte per image is allowed. Open the image in the gallery, and cut and paste the provided web address here in the post.
