Was back home for a few days where one of the few brick and mortar dealers left (Foto/C) had a sales on. Only went there on day two of the sales, but the lonely new DP2 Merrill was still up for grabs. So I did just that 
Quite nice price too at roughly €537 including our 101% VAT (approximately). Of course it has been raining hippos and rhinos ever since both back home and here in NATO HQ so have not been able to get out shooting with it.
So far it looks like a significant upgrade in every way over my DP1 and DP2. With the QS button and the speedy AF it does almost not feel like a Sigma
I have tried searching but cannot find posts on good third party batteries available in Europe. What (if any) do you guys an gals use?
