Any Sinar F users out there? I got one awhile ago but haven't had the guts to put it together. I finally put it up a few nights ago and am eager to give it a go. Can't wait to get started with some film and view some 4x5 slides.

But I am finding screws and nobs which I have no idea what they do. A little help on the basic nomenclature would be appreciated.

Trying to catch up to Gabor...

I have one. What do you want to know? In essence its very simple. You adjust the rear or front standard to an approximate bellows extension and then set fine focus with the knob on the back. The levers on the rear and front standards allow movements. The clips on the top of the standards allow attaching and detaching the bellows, lens board and ground glass.

Looking from the rear of the camera, below each standard is a small knob to left. What do these do?
Also, the levers that allow movements for each standard, the front standard's lever moves easy and the standard moves quite easily, while the rear standard's lever is a bit harder to move and the standard requires a lot of force to either move it left or right (don't know the proper term for this movement)(Edit: shifting!). Can this be fixed by taking the standard apart and applying lubricate or is something wrong here?

Thanks for the help.
