The rules didn't allow the two to be put together and may have lost some of it's appeal.
I shot this while on vacation in Chicago in August. Coming from a small town in the northwest we don't get the opportunity to witness democracy. Well, unless you count the wheat farmers bitching about wheat prices. As I rounded the corner I ran head on into this protest. I had my Leica IIf and a 5cm Elmar I had just bought in Chicago. At the time I thought, "What a great time to have a classic camera and lens".
The two shots, to me seem to go together a lot better. I was just lucky, and honored to be there for the shot.
