Apologies: Didn't know where exactly to put this.
Problem: Proverbial box of slides and negatives. Sending it out would cost a fortune. See that many of the scanner options are now running 2nd place to using a good digital camera to shoot copies with a macro lens.
Question: If you're doing this or have done it, do you have any particular recommended gear? techniques ? etc. Thanks!
