I can no longer trust my old leather case from my Voigtlander Bessa II.
Usually I just use the sling as the folding flap and strap have long since detached. Now the sling is wearing out. Is there an option or do I just sew the old sling back together - not keen on that though. I would hate to hear the sound of the Bessa II hitting the ground.
I need a sling and strap. I wish they had placed strap lugs on the body.

You could screw in a "Black Rapid" in the tripod socket.

Archivist - are you going to use the tripod mount to secure the strap?
Gordy Straps, advertised here on RFF makes a variety of wrist straps and slings, which can be screwed onto the tripod mount.

Thanks Solinar.
I think my original post may have been a bit misleading.
By sling I meant the bottom half of the case the camera sits in. I like to have a strap around my neck especially when walking about with a large folder around my neck, a wrist strap just would not cut it for me.
I think I may have to sew up the existing bottom half of the case and attach a neck strap of some sort.
