The IR blocking glass is now .8mm where the M8's was .5mm.
How much resolution and sharpness loss will this increased thickness cause?
How will this affect pseudo IR photography (using R72 type filters)?
Would be interesting if some of the early testers could take some IR photos, or even shoot their TV remotes and compare with the M8.
I shot much of the day with a 50/lux 1.4 with R72 filter on the M8. Photos are on my blog. Would hate to see this capability gone or decreased.
