So I finally got my M2 back from Youxin Ye

He did a really good job fixing the shutter curtain and now the camera is amazingly accurate and smooth. The viewfinder on the other hand has like small bits of black specks.. I can't say that it's dust, but the VF is brighter and cleaner than when I sent it in meaning he did clean it out.

I don't know.. am I just being picky, or should I ask Youxin to help me clean it out a bit better? Considering since CLAs come only like what every 10+ years?

couldn't hurt to ask. Help out on shipping. Probably an oversight on his part, but i agree, they happen so infrequently you want it perfect.

It could have been that the shipping vibration shook loose stuff that was loosened by the CLA. It may have looked clean when Youxin inspected it after closing.

I'm fairly positive that he'd accept it back and clean it out.

Youxin took back my M4-P, which had been CLA'd by the prior owner, and fixed it at no cost. Straight shooter, yep, he sure is.
