Just sold my mint Digilux 2 here & picked up a GF1 w 20 1.7 lens & EFV. Got an M mount adapter to use my Summicron 35 2.0. Great price at the local camera shop with $100.00 instant rebate. Love this little camera, an nice carry camera to go along with my M4. I can swap my lens back & forth. I do have one question on the adapters, do they all focus past infinity? Not a big deal with the EVF on the camera, but I dont know if thats normal. I can scale focus to the almost infinity mark on the lens if I need to & it should be fine. Do any of you have this issue? Thanks in advance.

That's an nice combo :) ( i have the same setup: GF1, EVF, 20mm)

yes, I believe that focusing past infinity is normal.

About the same & it still is alot better than holding the camera out at the end of your arms like a tourist. It is much better to focus the M lens as you can hold the camera more steady.

Congratulations on picking up the GF1! It is a fun go anywhere camera.

I use the Voigtlander M adapter and have no focusing issues. I also have the Summicron 35/2, sample photos can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26672618@N03/sets/72157624140936597/

I have a G1 with the 20..... very nice indeed...
I have a Metabones M adapter... very well made, no focus issues at all.... looks like the Voigtlander IMO at under $50.00
