Just got this today - says ENNA - Munchen Tele - Ennalyt 1:3.5 f = 13.5 cm
Germany on side near base ser no. 2646349
Not sure what its value is - all appears to work fine - 12 blade iris - clean scratch free lens front and back - it has a screw fit to the camera and a filter or adapter on the front which says BRAUN 52E 1x
It fits my Canon VT de luxe camera so I presume its a Leica screw fit 35mm ??
Any help will be appreciated - steve
Happy to send photos but I have no idea how to upload them on here

Yes. But it's 39mm.

It's a 135mm lens with a 1:3.5 maximum aperture. I don't think it's a Leica lens?

I know its not a Leica Lens - just asking if it will mount and work on a Leica body??

You answered that question as soon as you put it on the Canon VT.

Thanks PF - I presume that's a NO in answer to the Leica question? - it appears to be a good quality lens - I guess it will fit any 39mm screw fitting or will it need an adapter ? I have looked on that well known auction site and some are priced $1700 or so - no idea if this one falls into that price range - steve

The Canon VT is Leica thread mount. At least the one I had was.

Don´t know the lens, but if it fits and works in a Canon VT, then it's a Leica Screw Mount lens.

You have 'Googled' Enna?
I seem to remember that they made some lenses for the Corfield Periflex cameras, also Leica screw thread.

Don't get your hopes up but not too many 135 mm lenses in LTM are worth 1700 dollars.
Enna was a budget lens maker like Schacht and ISCO (Joseph Schneider's lower priced lens line) and was some what popular in making longer lenses in the Exakta mount during the 1950s along with many other second tier lens makers from Europe.

Unless it's for an early Zenit?

This lens is all metal - I believe its steel but looks like aluminium - there is no 'black' on the body of the lens.

I'm guessing you didn't know the Canon VT is an LTM camera.

Thanks PF - I recently sold a Corfield lens to the States and I knew that fitted the Canon - I do not have a Leica Body to try.
were you able to view my photos of the lens??

Few Enna lenses will even reach a hundred (and these usually are the long lenses in the 300-600mm range). They were a quirky low budget maker whose inventions are more memorable for their mind-numbing weirdness (the interchangeable helicoid lens) or as a pioneering step towards flimsy cheapness (the first plastics barrels) than for quality...
