If anyone is making a POD (print on demand) book - such as Blurb - read all the FAQs about color management. I recently got a book back that wasn't quite what I expected, quality wise. We spend a lot of time with our images to make them the best we can; I'm sure we want them printed accordingly.

I guess my point is that for those of you unfamiliar with book printing, spend some time learning about the workflow necessary to get the results you want. My book wasn't bad - It just was not as nice as I expected - or as good as the images really were. I'm not blaming Blurb. AFTER I got the book done I learned about the color profiles and color management I needed to have known about.

I hope this helps someone else avoid making the same mistake I did.
