Some J8 flare for ya

I always forget the hood. And it should have a hood...it should have anything it wants, because darn-it this lens is good to me. It is like a completely unselfish lover. It makes me want to take out the trash and save the whales. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this lens would whistle a sweet birdsong and gently lift the covers from me in the morning, or if it were secretly sewing me a ball gown. It cost 15 SMURFING DOLLARS. But I AM still heavily medicated for this retarded kidney stone...so, come on. I took a break from liquids and self loathing to go to the playground last evening. And this isn't burst mode....he went down the slide about 70 times. I only took three shots, and not only did they come out, they formed a handy montage.

Flare or no, that youngin' has a wonderful face. #1 is just a great shot. The colors are nice and the flare, highlights and reflections kind of work together IMO. But, if the flare really bugs ya, you could convert to B&W or sepia tone and the flare would not be so noticable. In any case, it's a keeper!

yea, sharp lens you have. I can see the scratches on the slide very clearly. I am a big fan of J8 too.

I loves me my J8. It's a nice, nice lens, and usually at a very agreeable price!

Nice shots. Cute kid! The flare's not actually so bad, in the end. A little bit distracting, but it doesn't look too out of place.
