Hi guys
I hope it is fine if I share some recent shots! I got back from a two week trip to Thailand a week ago and have been trying to work my way through my shots. It was a pretty standard trip so nothing very unusual or crazy stuff going on. I just snap away on whatever I find interesting/beautiful/nice, not really after bringing some ground breaking photo journalism to the table here.
So I wanted to start off with some shots from my first stop which was Ban Krut, about 400 km or so south of Bangkok on the east coast of Thailand. I had never been there before, but it was nice visiting a really quiet place with not much going on except a small village and a long beach.
First a shot from a motorbike trip I did with my friend, we drove just a few km but went from pretty empty beach stretches to completely deserted sections. On the way back we stopped for some other shots and I saw this lone fisherman.

Then one from a trip we did to eat at a tiny restaurant in the middle of nowhere. I guess it was more like someones front porch than a restaurant, but very enjoyable and extremely cheap. This specific shot is from the back of the restaurant where some people we're chopping up coconuts, not sure how and if it related to the restaurant itself.

Then we have one from the village of Ban Krut where there was somewhat of a tiny harbor for the fishing boats.

And one from the food market which I think was set up once a week, but I might be mistaking there. My friend bought some skewers (is that the word?) from this woman, and we're still unsure what kind of meat it was.

And then let's end with a really early morning shot while we we're up hoping for a sunrise that never really arrived, but I am still happy with the colors in this shot.

These were all shot with my M9 and in most cases my Zeiss Planar, I did also use my C Biogon, but not as much. If you're really interested in that the tags on Flickr should state which lens it was for each shot.
I hope you like it, if so I'll do one post for Hua Hin and one for Bangkok as well as I go through those images. If you are interested in more shots there are more in a set on my Flickr.
All in all it was a great experience, relaxing and enjoyable. During the two weeks I took just shy of 1400 shots which was actually less then I expected, but more than I enjoy going through now.
It was great having the M9 and this was the most I shot with it since I got it just after christmas.
Thanks!
Kenny
