Hi!
This newbie has two queries:
1.) When I signed up to the RFF, my account was assigned the number 1062. I tried to use this account to post photos to the gallery, but couldn't, as this number already belonged to a certain Mike LeFevre. So I had to sign up anew for the gallery in order to be able to post there.
I notice that everyone else is using the same profile for posting to the forum and to the gallery. While I don't mind having two numbers, I'd like to know whether this is some kind of bug and whether it can be fixed without too much hassle.
2.) In my RFF control panel, I haven't been able to find a page that keeps track of my comments to threads on the forum, or to other people's gallery photos. How can I see where I've posted, so that I can check for replies, etc.?
Thanks!

Ronnie,
every newbie here experiences that
- you have to log in seperately with your username and password in the gallery! But apparently it takes a few hours after you first registered before you can post in the gallery. Frankly, I never even noticed that I have some kind of number - hmm, gotta check out which is mine...
As for your second question, in 'thread tools' you can mark subscribe to a thread, and get e-mail notifications when someone else posts to that thread; and in the gallery when uploading a pic you can check 'yes' if you want to be notified about comments to your pics!

Thanks, but that's not what I meant. When I signed up at RFF, I realized I had to log in separately at the gallery, but when I tried to do so, I found that my username/password combination didn't work there. Also, the original "My RFF Gallery" link that was automatically placed in my forum signature led to this Mike LeFevre's gallery instead of mine. (I have since manually changed my signature to link to my own gallery, for which I had to sign up separately.)

Again, thanks, but I'll rephrase: I'm not looking for comments on my own pics, but for comments posted to other people's pics that I have also commented on, as well as comments I make on the forum. Does the website keep track of where I post without my having to "subscribe" each time?

Ignore It (It'll go away)
Hoot,
I think that all you'll be able to see is the last comment you made, and that shows up in your Profile on the Gallery side. I'm not aware of any access to all comments made. I've look for that too, but like you, I haven't been able to find it.
I'm interested in the same feature, and hope it exists.

Thanks, Ray. I've seen the link to the last comment, too.
At photo.net it's possible to keep track of every comment you ever posted. It would be very cool if that option was implemented here, too. I'm sure this information is already maintained somewhere; all there is to do is make it publicly available.
Pretty please!

The gallery is so screwed up that I may be replacing it really soon. I dont want to spend to much time trying to fix it at this time beacuse of that.
