It's a great Idea, but it isn't very crowded.
I take a peek sometimes to see if there is happening something...
I think it's matter of time to get the people used to it.

Maybe there could be scheduled talks (like "Russian cams", or "Ways to Raise $$ for new cameras", or "What's your inspiration?", etc) and announced on the fron page. That way we could all tune in at the same time and chat...

Nobody is ever home when I check in. We could have scheduled talks, or just submit a thread saying "I'm in the chat room, why aren't you?"

Had a good group last night at about 10 PM CST. First I've seen in the new room.

I usually keep a chat window open if I'm online, and nearly always if I'm browsing RFF. Give it a try and just keep a session open for a while. With over 1700 posts, you no doubt spend a little time browsing RFF yourself, rover.
