Well-known
I have a Sonnar 1:4 13.5cm that i use on my Kiev4am and Contax IIA. Assuming it would have close focus issues, I have never tried it on my Nikon-S. Recently, I thought why not and tried to mount it on the Nikon. To my surprise, it will not mount on the Nikon. The locking lever will not interface with the flange and there may be some internal mismatches also; I cannot tell. It mounts quite easily on my Kiev and Contax. Has anyone experienced similar difficulties in mounting a Sonnar on a Nikon and, if so, did you manage to resolve it?

The locking lever on my for-Nikon Tanar has slight issues on Contaxes and Kievs as well, but it does eventually lock with a bit of wiggling - I guess there are minor differences to the bayonet flange. As Nikon or Contax mount Cosina/Voigtländers don't show that phenomenon either way, it should be possible to file a tiny bit off the lever to fit both mounts.
There are some slight differences, and I have filed down a J-12 to work with my Nikon S-Mount.
The Sonnar 13.5/4 will need to be closed to F8 or so on the Nikon.
