Hey,
I recently got the Nikon WC-E68 wide angle adapter which I've been using w/my Fuji X100 when needed. It's a 0.68x adapter, so takes the Fuji's 35mm lens into a 24mm lens which is cool.
I thought, I wonder if this will work on the Nex-7 and just tried it, here's some test shots. I don't have the Sony 16mm pancake so I can't do an a/b.
It seems to work pretty well but is not as good as the Zeiss; the stock Zeiss is clearly sharper when seen 100% but to the casual observer? Probably not so big a difference when not pixel peeping.
1 - Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 solo
2 - Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 & Nikon WC-E68 and a field of view matching the 35mm Zeiss solo
3 - Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 & Nikon WC-E68 showing normal field of view
4 - 100% A/B comparison

Incidentally you can focus really close w/this combo, I have the glass basically touching a tea mug and it grabbed focus and has somewhere to go still.
One thing w/the Fuji is people said you want a filter in there as it does something to help the focus, like moving the flange/focus plane or something.
I've no idea how using the Sony Nex-7 affects this so for all I know the shots w/the adapter, e.g. there might be a positioning tweak.
All shots has a B+W 007 49mm filter on the lens, shot at f/2.8
