In an act, the stupidity of which I did not fully appreciate at the time, I flooded the heating/drive unit on my Jobo-CPA-2 film processor. Apparently "the transformer PC board got whacked."

I have looked at Jobo's website and they seem to be dead. I contacted Joboman@aol.com who has none of the parts I need. Looked at B&H, Adorama, KEH, Midwest Photo Exchange, Badger Graphics -- all of my usual suspects. Bupkus.

Any ideas?

Well, a week after this was posted I see 49 people have viewed the thread, but no one knows where to get parts. I guess it's e-bay for a replacement processor. Darn.

Sorry to hear this, Ben. Both for your troubles and for the foreboding sense it brings to my love of using the CPE-2. Hopefully finding spare parts, and spares for and of these great machines gets cheaper as time moves on. Like most outmoded tech though they will likely be available for a while, then demand for parts will inflate prices, until the aficionados (read:die-hards!) move on.

I think you are right. I dearly wish I had bought a back-up machine when folks were dumping these about a year, year-and-a-half ago. After watching ebay for a week or so, there seem to be plenty of CPE-2's around -- Am I right that the CPE-2's can't use the pro-series 2500 drums for 4x5 and 8x10?

I'm afraid it's more and more difficult to find parts for those machines. I bought myself cpa2 a couple of years ago and I'm so happy about it but I'm afraid that the day it brokes there won't be any spare parts available...

I use the 2500 series tanks for up to 4 x 5 on the CPE-2 all the time. I've never shot 8 x 10, but imagine the length of the processor well is suitable for the longer tanks. The diameter would be the issue if there is one.
