All of my glass is in chrome and a few days ago I started looking for a polariser since I have an upcoming trip to the Mediterranean where it would certainly come in handy. However, to my surprise I have been unable to track down any E39 polariser in chrome/silver.
The only lead I managed to get was that there appears to have been a B+W filter available some time ago [1], but that it is now gone. There also appears to be filters made by Leica back in the 60s or 70s [2], but as charming as vintage the prices are bonkers and I do not want to gamble when it comes the quality of my filters.
Does anyone own a filter like this or know of a dealer that may still have one available? Any help would be very much appreciated. If worst comes to worst I will just surrender and get one in black, but I am not giving up without a fight.
