sovietcamera - OK ?

sovietcamera seems to have quite a few nice looking Zorkis and Feds to sell , all cla'd.
But the same cameras seem to be offered for months !
Does anyone have any info on this seller ?

not sure about them, but sovietarmystuff are stupidly slow and their descriptions are more forgiving than a blind mother to an ugly child.

I think the Keiv 2a that I bought here from Solinar came from Soviet Camera Store (link). It is easily the nicest fsu camera I own & operates very smoothly. I noticed that some of the Kievs they had when I first looked a couple of months ago have been sold.

ive dealt with him once (bought a zorki 1) and i got a great camera. i dont use it much but it works great and i bring it with me on long trips as a back up rangefinder because the thing can be knocked around a suitcase or dropped off a cliff without much harm done.

Yep, that Keiv 2a is from Soviet camera, http://www.sovietcamera.com.ua/

It was one of those cameras that needed nothing to shoot with and their shipping is pretty quick.

I like the look of their stock whenever I look at the site,and their shipping is very reasonable,but their payment methods don't include P/Pal and the alternatives,like Western Union, seem difficult from the UK,unless anyone can enlighten me that is?🙁

I just got my jupiter 3 lens in the mail from Ukraine today fron seller shweik1973. I don't think he sells much camera stuff, but he did me right! I had to pay through Protec Trading Co. and he sent e-mail on the 2nd Jan and said the lens had been shipped. Mailman delivered card yesterday saying regrestered package waiting at P.O. Opened package tonight and can't wait to try it out. It's so smooooothe😀

I bought a Jupiter 8 from Soviet Camera a while back and it was a beauty. A friend bought a Zorki 1 from him and it was also a beauty. Prices are a little high but the gear was great!

It's very re-assuring to have the experiences of others when trying to peer through the now, rather patchy iron curtain !
i have bought three excellent '' silver Leicas "' Zorki 1 & 2 x Zorki S from Mika @ moscowphoto which are fine , but his black ''Standard leicas [ Z 1 ] were not so good , definitely another supplier/maker , but oleg is fixing that !
But I do fancyy a Zorki 1 in box with new curtains from sovietcamera .. and may go for it !
He also has a fair Z 3 , reasonable as Z3's tend to go .
