It appears there are going to be several meetups in the Southeast this Spring!:angel: The locations through May seem to be Atlanta, Savannah and Asheville.

The first is in Atlanta on April 11, 2015. Location still up for grabs. Diner for breakfast or even Manuel's Tavern for late breakfast. If you can be with us, please sign up here:

Paul, I spoke with Sam Johnson and he is up for the meet! Waiting for a confirmation.

There are a couple of others I am waiting to hear from and I know it is difficult commit sometimes so we might have a nice walkabout to do just that...photographing the Manuel's Tavern for historical posterity. I read where Manuel wanted his tavern to be around for at least a hundred years and with the new development coming and subsequent rebuild of the tavern, Manuel will get his wish!:cool:
 
Sounds great! We'll have a big time! But the new rebuilt Manuel's won't be the old, that's for sure! Change is everywhere...
 
April 11th is on!

Atlanta seems pretty much empty as far as RFF members are concerned. But the faithful will be there waiting on anyone who wants to join!!!

Only requirement is: Bring a camera!!

Or several to show off! You might like to give a couple of mine a whirl!':):):)

Manuel's Tavern at 11:00am. Apfil 11, 2015

All I have to share is a couple of film cameras for you to try! Bring whatever you have and let's have a final meet-up at the original watering hole!!

As I just said to Dave in a PM, I'm on call at work this week, so travelling all the way to Atlanta is out. I'm sure I'll get to some event later this year though.
 
Today's first meet up in Atlanta was a success!!

After a couple of years of no activity at a RFF meet-up, we had a small gathering of four after three others were unable to be with us. Paul and Joe, thank you for your time and company today, we enjoyed the brunch, the camera talk and catching up on life very much!!

Sam, Al, Mike, we hope to see you guys at a future meet up soon... Asheville? Savannah? Charleston? We shall wait and see.

I will get around to posting some photos soon.

Until then, I want to wish you all well. Great time today with perfect weather!
 
Sounds like fun. I ended up on a call from 7:30 until 10:00, then went in at 2:00AM for a software install.

Anyway, I'm looking to take a long weekend in May to go somewhere. Let's see what pops up here.
 
So Dave, I don't get here much lately because other stuff gets in the way; but what about Asheville? Let's get the band back together!
