So I've amassed half a dozen cameras, all of which I use pretty regularly. I just pick one I haven't used in a while, load in some film, and go out and shoot.
In the drawer where I keep them, there is this horrible tangle of crappy straps attached to them all. They're uncomfortable and ugly and in the way. I'm thinking I should just buy a couple of nice leather straps w/neckpads from Gordy or A&A, and switch them from camera to camera when I use them.
Obviously though it takes like ten minutes to get the things on and off. Does anyone sell little tails with miniature carabiners or something that you can permanently attach to all your cameras, and then switch straps quickly and easily?

You can find small quick release buckles, somehow attach a bunch of them to your cameras and modify the 2 end of you strap so you could snap it in place. Tamrac has a system like that for SLR.
Or, if you could ever find something like this

The smallest version is for making earing, though bigger and stronger is well suited for putting on cameras, my bead-crafting friends gave me these, so I have no idea where to find them, might try searching craft sites.

Wow, yes, the craft store!! I even know what aisle at my local store to find those in. Why didn't I think of that?
Thank you!
Thank you!

That's a good idea, hans. Those little spring rings look like they'd be a lot more convenient than the usual split-rings.

Nice idea, I'll see if I can salvage something similar from my junk room

Consider a wrist strap, too.

When I had more cameras, I used to store the unused ones wrapped in pieces of cloth. This was to keep the dust out, but it also kept the straps from getting tangled. For obvious reasons, bags made of transparent material would be better.
