Refuses to suffer fools
I've been using an old Leica bag for my tiny 500C/M kit, but I'd like something that is a little better fit. It needs to be small, all I carry is the body with 80, A12 and hood attached, one more A12, a few filters and extra rollfilm, cable release and meter.
Any suggestions? I think I'd like something padded for this one, although I usually prefer unpadded canvas bags or the BBB. Maybe even a Pelican-type case?

Hasselblad used to sell small attache-like cases specifically designed to hold the sort of kit you've described. I've picked up a couple of them, in Exc+ condition, for under $50 each on eBay. I just gave away one of them last week, to a friend with a situation similar to yours.
These resemble a small briefcase, but with padded slots exactly the right size for camera bodies, lenses, etc. So, there's no shoulder strap. I don't find that to be a handicap, but others might.

"The older ones even come in that 60-70's sort of sky blue with a white logo. Heh."
Yeah, fortunately they aren't all that color!
Both of mine are a saddle brown leather. And it's easy to darken the leather a few tones, if you'd prefer a darker case.

Quite a difference from an unpadded canvas bag to a Pelican case...
I know, but I don't shoot the Hassy like anything else. I'm more looking for transport protection.
Thanks for the ideas, people!
