Summitar Help

I have an older Summitar I want to mount on my M8. Can someone guide me in the right direction.
I think I need a Cameraquest type I adapter that won't interfere with the infinity lock.
I also need a solution for the uv/ir filter issue. What filter adapter will allow me to use my B&W 39mm #486 on my Summitar or is that possible?

Any and all help is appreciated as I've just recently ventured into this part of the world.

A Summitar doesn't need a special adapter to fit on your M8. Any should work, get one that can be coded. The infinity lock on the Summitar stands out much further than say on a 5cm Elmar, and that does foul on the average adapter (unless you learn the knack of using it).

Heavystar make a Summitar to E39mm adapter, they can be found on Ebay.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a bog adapter and again are you saying any screw mount to M mount adapter is fine for my summitar?

Bog standard = just any adapter will do. Yes just buy any LTM -> M adapter it will work.
