I had another birthday recently, and since a good friend of mine gave me a set of Sandmars, I decided that was the day to shoot them. Luckily the weather cooperated. Well, except for the heavy frost that morning, which made it too cold for my fingers to handle a lens change on the C-3, so I just shot the 35mm.

Location was Roanoke, VA, where the main north-south route of Williamson Road crosses the Norfolk Southern (NS, ex N&W) tracks downtown. Film was Kodak 100 T-Max, and I used a Tiffen Series V yellow filter. Below are some samples.

They are a fun camera to have, even if you have to watch out for the shutter lever. I really need to open this one up and clean the viewfinder, but it's the only one I am comfortable with the speeds right now. I've got a half dozen of the beasts, but only this one works properly.

Excellent work with the Argus. I love the look of that first one.
The result with the 35mm look very crisp indeed.

I've not actually considered investing in other lenses then the standard 50mm Cintar, but now I'll be keeping an eye out for some 😉

Great stuff. The yellow filter really helped keep the sky very natural looking. One of my favorite lenses. Nice blend of sharpness and vintage feel. Keep up the good work.
