Hi.

Anybody has a suggestion on what's the easiest/quickest/safest way to adjust the RF on a Zeiss Super Ikonta model 531/16?
It's the 6x6 model with combined vf/rf, no flip-up rotating prism.
Also, how does one take the top cover off (for some VF window cleaning)? i see only the screws on the cold shoe, nothing else. Any ideas/experience are welcome before i start to figure it out myself...

thanks

OK - just to give the answer: the quickest way to align rf and focus is to remove the front ring of the lens w the distance scale, and rotate the front lens element while observing precise focus in the film gate. Then putting back the front ring in the correct direction. The distance scale might be off however (but that does not matter since you have a coupled rf to set the distance!).

The top comes off by removing the wind screw and film reminder, and then removing the two screws below these.
