It seems the front portion of the barrel on my Asahi Pentax Super Takumar 35mm f2 lens has come loose. This is the part that houses the filter thread, and moves in and out as you focus. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? I am afraid to take this lens out in case the barrel falls off completely. I have a video on youtube to illustrate:

Thanks all.

I think that front ring is secured by grub screws, and that one has loosened or come out. That's about the limit of my knowledge so I'd take it to a repair shop. Good luck!

Remove the decorator ring. That's the one with all the writing on it, it just unscrews.
Tighten the three screws that are loose, reassemble.

The decorator ring is unscrewed with the help of a rubber "something" eraser, stopper, anything that will give a little friction.
