I first bought the X-Pro1 and the three prime lenses when this camera was launched and, a good while later, the X100s. I had previously owned a Leica M9 and 35mm Leica lens and didn't get on with it as I was really a 50mm user, I took a gamble on buying the X100s as it too, was a 35mm equivalent lenses camera. At first I felt if made the same mistake as with the Leica 35mm and defaulted to my X-Pro1 and the XF35 which was equal to a 50mm but, as time has passed I've found myself being drawn to the X100s' charm and simplicity. No need to choose which lens to use, and in some ways, better than the X-Pro1. Now, I tend to pick up my X100s and go out shooting street photography and enjoy my time out shooting not feeling conspicuous, and being able to work away without fear of being seen as some pest of a photographer which many have suffered from in recent years. What I have found now is this: I tend to look closer and pay attention to what is around me and, even if I only have my iPhone with me, see an image I want to capture. It's not always a success as I have missed a chance or the image has alluded me but, I have those missed shots in my mind stored away in my memory. Life's to complex now and rushed so it's nice to slow down, take stock and enjoy the day even if I miss capturing that one in a million shot. So, stop worrying about the latest and greatest camera or lens and get out and enjoy what you do even if that prize shot is missed: it's still there for you to remember in your dreams and memories. Agree 100%.

Had 2 recent business trips lately, most recent to Austria - would normally grab the XP1 or XT1 and a couple of lenses for shooting when I had down time. At the last minute (both times) just felt like downsizing and grabbed the old X100. Had a great time and got great shots. All that matters.

wise advise, and likewise I have the x pro 1 and the x100, my x100 goes everywhere with me, my go to camera
