SYOOM leicavit, one or two strokes?

Just received a leicavit SYOOM for my IIIf. I am having to pull two strokes to fully cock the shutter.

What is the normal operation of it? One or two strokes? If one stroke is the norm, is there a simple way of adjusting it or is a technician required?

The SYOOM has a single action clutch and if you put it on the camera with the shutter half - cocked it will require two or close to two strokes. When you load - ensure that the camera is fully cocked or fully "uncocked" before putting it on.
The Leicavits (M or LTM's) are getting on in age and occasionally you have worn clutches and that can also cause a problem. Try the fully cocked or fully uncocked shutter first and see if that helps - if it doesn't, it might need service. Don Goldberg is the only one that I know off that might have parts for them.

Thank you Tom. It is definitely a two stroker now. I will contact the seller to see if they will pay for the servicing.
